"AI for the rest of us"

 Update: follow on Part II.

In my other blog (here) Language and mores, Part VII (here) described what I found out about my family's status as immigrants in our complex story of a pregnant mother's escape from Hungary and my siblings ½ generation later. When I later discussed how I thought my marriage ended, my family saw a Jungian influence in my thinking. Jung's disciple Adler apparently inspired Kishimi & Koga's recent best seller "The Courage to be disliked" (Google books). Ensued a three-language dicussion to understand what this was all about... Mum prefers our mother tongue Hungarian, my brother lives in Montreal and my sister in Paris.

Me & my bro ~ 15 yrs. ago after a chat over one too many in Balaton Almádi HU

Enter "AI for the rest of us". I simply put the question: what is the link between Kishimi & Koga's "The courage to be disliked" and Jung or Adler's psychology? in Bing AI in those three languages.

I love AI: it not only highlights the capacity AI has to summarise and to inform with laser precision. It also recognises and replies in the language it is addressed in.

And watch the linguistic twist at the end... I love translation too!

I hope this helps!

Bonus

My bro helpfully sent the link to the local bookstore, as mom reads books not computers:

... "The courage to be disliked" becomes in the French bookstore "The courage not to be loved", labelling it in French as a "provocative title" - note its correct translation in the French section above - here we crossed a line: marketing takes liberties with translation to drive traffic. Period.

I guess marketing will always aid and abet dodgy practice... full circle back to my other blog (here)!
