Crowdsourcing for Dummies

James Fee points out Google's Michael Jones on crowdsourcing in Directions Magazine. But let's not forget the "other" democratisation of the geoweb: the tools and online community to help post geodata of any source you choose.

As a project testing just how easy it is, I just updated a map of Olympic host cities colour-coded by summer and winter games. I also linked them to websites if available, otherwise the IOC has pages for all the modern games.
